One of my favorite musicians in the world is about to release her latest EP “Bess Rogers Presents” next month and I really want you to know about it!
You can go to her Facebook event page and preorder the album and get tons of neato stuff with it. On August 18th a few winners who have RSVP’d the event on Facebook will win some cool album release packages! I hope I’m one of them!
If you haven’t heard Bess’ other EP “Travel Back” you need to stop everything you are doing and download it! It’s only $5.94 on iTunes! It’s full of timpani, beautiful vocals, and yellow birds in caves…what more could you ask for?
I’ll be seeing Bess on September 11th in Frederick, so let me know if you’ll be there! Also check out www.BessRogers.com for more information.

I have had Sirius blasting through my apartment all morning this Sunday as I prepare to move the F out of this hell hole apartment.
This TERRIBLE song “Pumpking Pie” came on, and I thought it was a Sirius promo/joke for the upcoming Halloween season (Wal-Mart is selling Pumpkin Reese Cups already!!!…wtf?), but it turns out it’s an ACTUAL song!
Check out the terror below. I apologize in advance.

If you haven’t purchased Robyn’s “Body Talk Pt. 1″ then, please stop everything you are doing and go get it right now.
Besides being one of my favorite albums (EP…it has 5 tracks) of the year, it features a song called “Hang With Me (Acoustic).” Well, Robyn is releasing the full studio version of that song as the first single to “Body Talk Pt.2″ which is going to be released on September 6th.
Here’s the album art, which I love because it was clearly inspired by my website header, followed by a YouTube video that features the song, so make sure you check it out!

Leonardo DiCaprio was spotted wearing a WVU hat at a recent World Cup match. It looks like he’s blowing in to a vuvuzela or whatever those annoying things are that sound like bumblebees.
Honk if you nasty, Leo!
Bristol Palin Adds “Actor” to Her Booming Résumé July 6, 2010

Now wait wait wait. Before you start ripping Bristol to shreads, it might be important to know that:
1) She was playing herself, so, not much acting going on there, right?
2) She was part of an episode of The Secret Life of the American Teenager, that featured teen moms.
In the episode Palin is at a band camp for and tells the main character Amy, that she is the world’s best French horn player, and then refers to herself as Yo-Yo Ma! LOL!
Okay, so as long as she’s not playing a former porn star a la Lindsey Lohan, or some sort of Marvel superhero, I think I’m okay with this. I typically have issues with people using their fame to walk on to sets of TV shows when there are so many talented, struggling actors (some of whom are my friends) out there trying to make a name for themselves and their talent. But it seems like Bristol had a great cause, and great reasoning to be a part of this very important episode. I hear this TV show is quite amazing, so I think I’ll start watching.
Did you see this episode?

I asked this question to my Twitter followers the other day and the responses had me laughing hysterically!
Me personally? *Sigh
I hate to say it but I vividly remember purchasing “It’s All Coming Back To Me Now” on cassette at Camelot Music, back home in Cumberland, Maryland. I am not sure how on Earth that song connected with me in any single way, but I remember falling asleep listening to it in my uncle’s Walkman.
Nothing against Celine, but it’s like…why would a 10 year old boy find that song so amazing?!
Check out some of my followers’ responses! So interesting!

I found this video through my friend Danny a while back. This was when Gaga was performing on New Year’s Eve in Miami. Right around the 2:30 mark she starts shooting her audience with a gun, sits it down, and says, “See my gun shoots glitter,” and continues on with her acoustic version of Poker Face.
The whole thing brings the LOLs, so check it out!
